Summary
Bea is a response to the need I saw for a period tracking app women can trust. As I researched the data netwrok involved in the cycle tracking app industry, I found a disturbing amount of betrayl and misuse of data in the companies people with periods trust the most. Trackers like Flo have been reported to sell period data to large companies like Meta to target adds to women more agressivly. I belibe that people with menstral cycles deserve mich better than this, that is why I made Bea. Bea is a more comfortable, trsutworthy, and simple way to track your cycle.
Personas
A big goal of this project was to create a tool women can use in every phase of life. With modes to accomodate people tracking their periods, fetility, and pregnancies, Bea follows you through every phase of yourself, helping pre-teens up to middle-aged women.
